By using getinsuranceplans.us you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who we are
getinsuranceplans.us is run by ITP 360 LLC ("we", "us"). Plans are offered through licensed health insurance agents. We are not a government website, we are not HealthCare.gov, and we are not an insurance company. The insurance company, not us, decides whether to accept your application and pays claims.
What the prices mean
- Prices come from the insurance companies and the federal Marketplace at the moment you ask, based on what you entered. They are quotes, not a promise of coverage.
- ACA prices include an estimated premium tax credit for the income you entered. Your real credit is set when you apply and may change when you file taxes.
- The "what would I pay" examples use typical bills to show how a plan works. What you actually pay depends on your care, your providers and the plan's full terms.
- We do not show every plan sold in your area. We show a short list to keep the choice simple. An agent can look at others with you.
- Anything marked "sample" is test data and not a real plan.
Fixed indemnity plans
UnitedHealthcare Health ProtectorGuard is fixed indemnity insurance offered through UnitedHealthOne. It pays set dollar amounts for covered services. It is not comprehensive health insurance, it is not minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act, and it has no out-of-pocket maximum. Health questions, exclusions and waiting periods apply. The plan brochure and policy have the full terms.
How we are paid
Using this site and talking to our agents is free. When you enroll in a plan, the insurance company may pay us a commission. It does not change the price you pay.
Contacting you
When you send a form on this site you choose whether to let us call, text and email you. The consent wording next to the checkbox is part of these terms, and our Privacy Policy explains how we use your details. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
Other websites
To apply, we may send you to HealthSherpa, UnitedHealthOne or another enrollment site. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not control them.
Using the site fairly
Please enter true information about yourself and only ask for quotes for yourself or someone who asked you to. Do not use bots or scripts to pull prices, try to break or overload the site, or copy its content for another service. We may block access that looks like abuse.
No guarantees
We work to keep plan details and prices correct, but the site is provided "as is". Insurance companies change plans and prices, and the plan documents always win over anything on this site. Nothing here is legal, tax or medical advice.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, ITP 360 LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and our total responsibility for any claim about the site is limited to $100. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Florida law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
